Adam Raskin, MD, FACC, from Mercy Heart Institute - Mercy West Hospital, discusses a case of a 62-year-old male with PMHx of diabetes and HTN presented to a community urgent care center with worsening shortness of breath and fatigue. He admitted to substernal chest pain the night prior. The next morning, the patient woke up with persistent GI upset. However, he had new shortness of breath with trivial exertion.
